Hi, how have you been doing?

I started to live in Hikone, Shiga prefecture from the end of last month.
My new life as a transfer student is very busy but I really enjoy it.
And I got a lot of new friends! Everything is fine.

Here are some photos I took around my flat.

Country I want to go

Britain is very attractive country for me.

I'm very interested in British foods.
First, I'd love to try Fish & Chips! I really got interested in it when I introduced it in my presentation in seminar class. And some of my friends who have been to Britain told me how bad some British foods are. I want to try them.

Also, I like British musicians. Jamiroquai, Franz Ferdinand, Lily Allen, London Elektricity, High Contrast... I want to go and see their concerts. Some of them hardly come to Japan.

My seminar class is planning to travel to Britain this spring. But I can't join them because I'm leaving Hamada. I'm going to move to Shiga... I really want to go to Britain someday!!

Most important possession

What's your most important thing in your life?
For me, it's sleeping.
I can't live without good sleeping. I'm long sleeper. When I can't sleep well, I'm frustrated.

I sometimes see someone sleeping on trains and buses. But I can't sleep well outside.
I prefer to sleep in comfortable environment.

So my futon is very important for me.

Snowy weekend

From my flat.

New life in Hamada

I have a lot of memories of the beginning of 2010.

First, I caught H1N1 swine flu after the turn of the year.
I was isolated from the other students who lived in dorm. That was kind of rough.

From February, I left the dorm and started to live in flat. That was first time for me to live alone (I think many of you are so). I felt very happy because I thought I was completely-free!
I had lived in dorm for four years, including university life. I'm used and like to live with my friends, but I wanted to live with maintaining a degree of privacy.

But after starting to live alone, I had an accident.
When I was running on the road at night, I lost my footing. I couldn't see the bump because of the darkness.
My left foot's ligament tore. It took about three weeks to recover completely. That was my first ligamentous injury...

While I couldn't walk, my friends helped me with everything very well. I really thank them:)

How was the winter vacation? I think some of you went home or attended coming-of-age ceremony.

I've been working near-daily since the end of last year. And I have to work tomorrow...

Well, this song is what I'm really into these days.

London Electricity is a British band. This song is from their 6th album, Syncopated City.

This song sometimes makes me wistful and nostalgic (I don't know why :P).
